On Thursday, 20 November 2025, Associate Professor Dr. Apichat Sophadang, Dean of Multidisciplinary and Interdisciplinary School, Chiang Mai University, participated in the event “Journey to Professorship and IE Alumni Homecoming: From the Starting Point to the Highest Peak – The Path to Professorship.”
He was honored to serve as a guest speaker, delivering a talk on “Time Management for Academic and Administrative Success: Balancing Research, Teaching, and Administrative Duties on the Path to Becoming a Professor.” The session aimed to inspire faculty members, staff, and students, as well as to honor esteemed academics who have achieved the highest level in their academic careers.
During the event, Associate Professor Dr. Apichat Sophadang received a congratulatory bouquet on the occasion of his promotion to Professor (awaiting royal approval) from Associate Professor Dr. Chompoonoot Kasemset, Head of the Department of Industrial Engineering, Faculty of Engineering.
The event concluded with a discussion session and networking activities to strengthen collaboration among faculty members and staff. The program was held at SMC Hub Building, Faculty of Engineering, Chiang Mai University.
