Day 2 – MIdS CMU Seminar Activity: “Curriculum Development for Multidisciplinary and Interdisciplinary Programs (MDP/IDP), Batch 2” for Change Agents and Support Agents
On Thursday, April 24, 2025, Multidisciplinary and Interdisciplinary School (MIdS), Chiang Mai University, organized an ecosystem development program which included a study visit on the management and development of Multidisciplinary Programs (MDPs) at Chulalongkorn University and Kasetsart University. The delegation was led by Associate Professor Dr. Apichat Sopadang, Dean of Multidisciplinary and Interdisciplinary School, Assistant Professor Dr. Salinee Santiteerakul, Dr. Pornsuda Insan, along with faculty members and support staff from various departments of Chiang Mai University who have completed training under the 2025 Ecosystem Program.
In the morning, the group visited the Graduate School of Kasetsart University to learn about the design of integrated interdisciplinary curricula, soft skill development, and the management of skill transcripts. In the afternoon, they visited the Graduate School of Chulalongkorn University to explore concepts in multidisciplinary curriculum design, successful and well-received graduate programs, and the management of cross-disciplinary curricula.
