MIdS CMU ประชุมหารือความร่วมมือด้านวิชาการ วิจัยและนวัตกรรม (Seed International Initiatives) . เมื่อวันที่ 10-13 มีนาคม 2568 วิทยาลัยพหุวิทยาการและสหวิทยาการ มหาวิทยาลัยเชียงใหม่ นำโดย รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.อภิชาต โสภาแดง คณบดีวิทยาลัยพหุวิทยาการและสหวิทยาการ มหาวิทยาลัยเชียงใหม่ ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.วรธมณ จีระผานุกร ผู้ช่วยคณบดีวิทยาลัยฯ ได้เข้าประชุมหารือความร่วมมือด้านวิชาการ กับ คณบดีจาก Institute of Science Tokyo (ชื่อเดิม Tokyo Institute of Technology)ได้แก่ Prof. Yoshitaka Kitamoto Dean of School of Materials and Chemical Technology Professor, Doctor of Engineering Department of Materials Science and Engineering, Prof. Hirotsugu INOUE, DEng Dean of School of Engineering Professor / Department of Mechanical Engineering, Prof. Mitsuyasu Iwanami, Dr.Eng. Dean of School of Environment and Society Professor, Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering พร้อมด้วย Prof. Dr.Hanaoka Shinya, Institute of Science Tokyo   . โดยการประชุมมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อพัฒนาต่อยอดความร่วมมือในด้านวิชาการ ด้านการวิจัย นวัตกรรม และด้านการศึกษา ในโครงการการพัฒนาความร่วมมือด้านงานวิจัย นวัตกรรม และงานวิชาการระหว่างวิทยาลัยพหุวิทยาการและสหวิทยาการ มหาวิทยาลัยเชียงใหม่ กับ Tokyo Institute of Technology ภายใต้โครงการริเริ่มเชื่อมโยงโครงการความร่วมมือ ด้านวิชาการ วิจัยและนวัตกรรม (Seed International Initiatives) . อีกทั้งยังได้เข้าร่วมประชุมกับ Prof. Takayuki Mori , Ph.D. Professor Emeritus, University of Marketing and Distribution Sciences, Japan ร่วมกับ  Ministry of Econom, Trade and Industry ได้แก่ Mr. Ohnishi Tomoyo, Deputy Director Logistics Policy Planning Office Commerce and Service Industry Policy Group และ Mr. Iijima Hibiki, Logistics Policy Planning Office Commerce and Service Industry Policy Group เพื่อหารือแนวทางในการพัฒนาความร่วมมือและกิจกรรมเชิงวิจัยและงานวิชาการร่วมกันในอนาคต ซึ่งในครั้งนี้ ถือเป็นการส่งเสริมความร่วมมือระหว่างประเทศ (Global Partnership) ภายใต้การขับเคลื่อนยุทธศาสตร์ของวิทยาลัยฯ และการพัฒนาโครงการวิจัยร่วม รวมถึงด้านวิชาการให้ดียิ่งขึ้นไป

MIdS CMU Discusses Academic, Research, and Innovation Collaboration (Seed International Initiatives)
From March 10–13, 2025, the College of Multidisciplinary and Interdisciplinary School, Chiang Mai University (MIdS CMU), led by Associate Professor Dr. Apichat Sopadang, Dean Of Multidisciplinary and Interdisciplinary School and Assistant Professor Dr. Vorathamon Cherapanukorn, Assistant Dean, attended a meeting to discuss academic collaboration with deans from the Institute of Science Tokyo (formerly Tokyo Institute of Technology). The participating deans included:
Prof. Yoshitaka Kitamoto, Dean of the School of Materials and Chemical Technology, Professor, Doctor of Engineering, Department of Materials Science and Engineering Prof. Hirotsugu Inoue, DEng, Dean of the School of Engineering, Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering Prof. Mitsuyasu Iwanami, Dr.Eng., Dean of the School of Environment and Society, Professor, Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering Prof. Dr. Hanaoka Shinya, Institute of Science Tokyo
The meeting aimed to further develop academic, research, and innovation collaborations under the Seed International Initiatives project. This initiative seeks to strengthen research, innovation, and academic partnerships between MIdS CMU and the Tokyo Institute of Technology by fostering joint projects and enhancing cooperative efforts in education and research.
Additionally, MIdS CMU representatives met with:
Prof. Takayuki Mori, Ph.D., Professor Emeritus, University of Marketing and Distribution Sciences, Japan Representatives from the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI), Japan, including: Mr. Ohnishi Tomoyo, Deputy Director, Logistics Policy Planning Office, Commerce and Service Industry Policy Group Mr. Iijima Hibiki, Logistics Policy Planning Office, Commerce and Service Industry Policy Group
The discussions focused on developing future research collaborations and academic activities. This meeting marked a significant step in strengthening global partnerships, aligning with the strategic initiatives of MIdS CMU to advance joint research projects and enhance academic cooperation on an international scale.
